i wonder if any other animal would be interested in ruling by political parties instead of instinct.

you say you want an evolution, well you know
a school of thought in sociology says that humans, save a brief sucking action after birth, do not have any instincts which can be labeled as such according to the rules applied to the rest of the animal kingdom. this can be seen as obviously flawed for a number of reasons, but there is one predominate exception in particular. a more developed form of the pack mentality seen in wolves and lions, for instance - an instinct which drives our need to create and live in social institutions. surely the efficiency of such tenants of our lives for thousands of years proved itself to be an evolutionary advantage. but part of us fights it at the same time. very interesting. is our expression of the instinct to form a pack simply more complex because we are able to make it so, or is the underlying instinct itself different from other mammals that live in cooperation?
i wonder if any other animal would be interested in ruling by political parties instead of instinct.
